Located in beautiful, sunny San Diego - your writing retreat experience takes place at a variety of our favorite local coffeeshops, an afternoon tea venue and around and about the city. We both love Southern California and look forward to hosting you here!

After a casual welcome reception at a favorite beach bar and grill, we'll do a group walk on the boardwalk to watch the sun set together. Come as you are - this is meant to be a no-frills get to know each other hang-out with tons of great appetizers.
We'll kick off day one with a classic British Afternoon Tea where you'll get the Ultimate Cozy Mystery Writer Swag Bag - the best reason for coming to the entire event!
Then we'll reconvene at another location to review your exclusive Workbook: The Cozy Vault - a collection of every tip, trick, outline and guide we use when writing our own books.
For dinner, we'll meet for some local authentic Mexican cuisine and tour the parts of the city that may or may not be haunted. Let the trolley cast of actors do the convincing.
Post-dinner evenings are for work or play. You choose based on what you need to take care of — either more focused writing time or relax and rejuvenate at your hotel in preparation for the next day!
